About
My scholarship and teaching take up biblical studies, religions in antiquity and classical languages. In particular, I study the history and religions of Israel during the Persian, Hellenistic and Roman periods. I am especially interested in pseudepigraphical and apocalyptic texts and literature and traditions associated with Enoch. I also explore in my research text criticism, the interpretation of Scripture and the role of women in the second temple and late antique periods.
